You also have the option of choosing pieced seams, no pieced seams, mitered corners, and no mitered corners. My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate the fabric yardage needed for each piece, total cost of fabric, width and length cut size of each quilt piece, as well as the number of pieces to cut. Backing and binding calculations are also included.
Custom Quilt Project: this section allows you to customize your quilt project by choosing a straight-set or on-point quilt setting, entering block size with number of blocks across by number of blocks down (if choosing an on-point quilt setting, setting squares, side-setting triangles, and corner triangles are also calculated), entering sashing width (up to 9 different sashing settings are included), entering number and widths of borders with separate entries for top/bottom and side widths (you also have the option of choosing pieced seams, no pieced seams, mitered corners, and no mitered corners), choosing vertical or horizontal piecing for the backing, and entering custom binding settings that include straight-grain or bias, single-fold or double-fold, and binding width. My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate the fabric yardage needed for each piece, total cost of fabric, width and length cut size of each quilt piece, as well as the number of pieces to cut.
Specialty Blocks: this section contains an assortment of classic quilt blocks for you to size as needed. My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate fabric requirements, cost of fabric, cutting instructions, and piecing instructions.
Sashings & Cornerstones: this section allows you to choose a straight-set or on-point quilt setting with up to 9 different sashing settings, including with or without cornerstones and sashing border. My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate fabric requirement, cost of fabric, width and length of sashing strips, and number of pieces to cut. If cornerstones are desired, My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate cornerstone fabric requirement, cost of fabric, width and crosscut size of cornerstone strips, and total number of cornerstone pieces to cut.
Borders: this is a comprehensive borders section in which you can enter as many borders as needed with separate top/bottom and side widths if needed. You also have the option of choosing pieced seams, no pieced seams, mitered corners, and no mitered corners. My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate fabric requirements, cost of fabric, border cut widths and lengths, and quilt center size after each border is added.

My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate fabric requirement, cost of fabric, width and length of the cut size of each piece, as well as piecing instructions for assembling the backing.
Binding: in this section you choose desired finished binding width, binding type (straight-grain or bias), and fold type (single-fold or double-fold). My Quilting Math Buddy will calculate fabric requirement, cost of fabric, the binding cut width size, the number of binding strips to cut (for straight-grain binding) or the size of the fabric square (for bias binding). Instructions are also included for making a continuous bias binding strip.
